Join us July 20-22, 2009 in Seattle, Washington for three days of intensive fit training for professionals at all levels.
Day 1 (July 20) is the Fit Kit Level I Seminar.
Days 2 and 3 (July 21-22) is the advanced Level 2-3 Seminar.
Fit Kit's Level I training provides a framework on which rests the more advanced techniques. Many advanced courses pass over the fundamentals in favor of methods that, while sound, leave you feeling shaky about performing fits. You'll come away from this seminar with more confidence in how to serve your clients:
Make bike fitting a valuable part of all your bike sales.
Use fit terminology and basic bike/body relationships to communicate with your clients.
Take fast, reliable Fit Kit measurements.
Translate those measurements into a proper developmental fit.
Perform basic on-bike fit verification.
The Level 2-3 class builds on the Level I training to prepare you for a full range of fitting activities. Topics include Biomechanics II, Rider Observation, Problem Solving, Time Trial/Tri Fits, RAD cleat settings and, of course, using the Waterford Fitmaster. You'll have hours of hands on activities to supplement the lecture and discussion sections.
Both courses will be taught by Fit Kit President Chris Nurre. Chris has over 20 years of experience as a bike shop owner and bike fit expert, based on his education in exercise physiology.
In addition to Fit Kit certification, you can also earn up to 2.4 CEU Coaching credits from USA Cycling and 15 credits from USAT.
